Early Life and Education
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in the Kingdom of Württemberg in the German Empire to Hermann and Pauline Einstein. His father was an engineer at a machine shop, while his mother was a homemaker who had previously worked as a governess. He grew up with two older siblings, Maja and Jakob.
Einstein's early life was marked by intellectual curiosity and independence. He began reading books on science and philosophy at the age of five, including works by Charles Darwin and Immanuel Kant. As he grew older, he became increasingly fascinated with mathematics.
In 1894, when Einstein was just fifteen years old, he moved to Switzerland to attend the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School (now ETH Zurich). It was there that he learned about physics from renowned professors like Marcel Grossmann.
Career Highlights
Einstein's academic career spanned over four decades during which he made groundbreaking contributions to various fields of science.
In 1905 alone – known as "Annus Mirabilis" or "Miracle Year" – Einstein published three influential scientific papers: one introducing his theory of special relativity; another proposing light quanta (photons), which later became fundamental particles in quantum mechanics; and yet another suggesting Brownian motion could be used as evidence for molecular existence – thereby supporting atomic theory.
Later in his career, while working at Princeton University from 1933 until his death in 1955 as a professor emeritus after retiring from regular teaching duties due to health issues following heart surgery in '45', Einstein continued exploring complex topics such as unified field theories that aimed unifying gravity with electromagnetism within a single framework based on space-time geometry called general relativity.
Personal Life
Despite being one among history's most celebrated scientists since ancient times have seen no other scientist equal him for sheer impact upon modern civilization than Sir Isaac Newton - not even Archimedes or Galileo - it is astonishing how little we know about this man beyond what we can learn through examining records left behind concerning his work itself!
His marriage lasted only seven months before ending amicably due largely because they were too different personalities but remained friends till her death some years later when she married again & lived happily ever after! So did you see? A scientist who never let love get between them & their pursuit for knowledge?
Impact on Society
The influence Albert Einstein has had goes far beyond academia into society itself where many people are inspired by him daily! Many people around world celebrate anniversaries related to him each year whether it is March 14th birthday celebrations worldwide events dedicated specifically towards education & technology development projects etcetera!
He also played significant role against nuclear weapons proliferation advocating peaceful use energy resources instead always promoting unity among nations using dialogue diplomacy rather than force conflict resolution strategies proving once more power lies not only intellect but compassion understanding empathy towards fellow human beings especially those less fortunate ones suffering war its consequences...
